Brian Bell is a CrossFit Level 1 coach at CrossFit HD. Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Brian has been an athlete all his life. During his athletic career Brian has played football at the high school and college levels, been a wrestler, muay thai fighter, and a collegiate rugby player. After his school years were over, Brian was looking for something new to keep himself active and healthy. After attending a regular “globo gym” for several years post-college Brian discovered CrossFit in 2011 and it gave him the athletic outlet that he had been craving.
Brian specializes in lifting technique and barbell path. “The best thing about being a CrossFit coach is that every time I walk into the gym, I have the opportunity to change people’s lives and help them do the things they didn’t think they could do.”
Gyllian has been doing CrossFit for 6 years and loves every part of it, but especially the people. She started when her youngest was a baby, as a way to get back in shape yet quickly realized that CrossFit provided the structure and community she needed to make fitness work with three small children. Gyllian has an educational background, with a bachelors and masters in teaching and leadership. All of this lends itself to CrossFit, in such fun and exciting ways. She started coaching last year and has never looked back. Gyllian loves coaching children and grownups alike, and you will find her easy smile and quick laugh make for a fun workout experience. Her and Brian have owned CrossFit HD since February 2018, and are so excited to grow the CrossFit HD family.
